Shay-lee sustains a broad practice with a strong foundation built in regional and remote Queensland.  

She accepts briefs in criminal and quasi-criminal matters including administrative law, child protection, inquests and inquires and personal injury (plaintiff). 

Prior to being called to the bar, Shay-lee was an Associate to a Judge of the Federal Circuit Court, prosecuted and defended criminal matters in the summary and superior jurisdictions and advised on legal and ethical matters within a range of Queensland Government Agencies. 

She is regarded as measured and forensic with her approach to strategic advice and advocacy.
